“make things happen" and “we make meetings happen” are my mottos since the start-up of hotelbooker.ch in 2006. At that time still alone, meanwhile five power women support company employees in organizing their events and advise hotels in sales and marketing questions. I am the typical all-rounder. During and after the hotel management school I went through all departments of the 4- and 5-star hotel industry and was always able to use and perfect English, French, Italian and of course German in my jobs at home and abroad. All activities were important experiences for my current job - nevertheless, as a boss you don't have to be able to do everything perfectly, but you have to have an idea about everything ;-)

After a commercial apprenticeship I was allowed to do my first internship in a hotel in France during my young years. From that moment on my passion for the hotel business was ignited and after that a life without a hotel was unimaginable for me. "Nothing is impossible and everything is feasible" was my motto from the very beginning. I was able to gain valuable experience at the reception as Front Office Manager and deputy of the hotel management. Finally I was able to complete my know-how as Conventions Sales Manager in a 4* hotel in the beautiful canton of Graubünden. Back in my hometown Basel, I am working for hotelbooker since February 2017 as Sales Consultant and support of customers and hotels for the cantons Basel, Aargau, Solothurn and Lucerne.

As a real "Bärner Meitschi" I know how to keep calm even in hectic times :-) Since my commercial training I have always worked in the hotel industry, from the beginning as a receptionist to the hotel manager of a 3-star hotel in Bern. As a hotel consultant I am primarily responsible for obtaining offers and processing them.

Through my hometown Fribourg I had the great advantage of growing up bilingual. After graduating from high school, I graduated from the Belvoirpark Hotel Management School in Zurich and was able to gain experience in the banqueting sector and as a company assistant. Through this valuable experience I know what is important for a meeting/workshop or company event. Since 2014 I am responsible for customer service in the French speaking part of Switzerland and take care of event requests and their processing.
